New drawers may feel stiff at first and become easier to open with regular use. If your drawers are difficult to open, try these steps:
Open and close gently. Move the drawer in and out a few times. Do not force it.
Check for obstructions. Remove any items or debris blocking the drawer or its slides.
Check the alignment. Make sure the drawer sits level and is properly seated on its slides.
Check before lubricating. Only use a lubricant recommended for your drawer slides. If you’re unsure, contact us before applying anything.
