Follow these steps carefully before installing your new seat.
Disconnect the toilet seat power cable from the wall outlet.
Ensure the unit is powered off completely for safety.
Turn the water supply valve to the OFF position to stop the water flow.
Confirm no water is flowing into the toilet before proceeding.
Lift the seat gently and pull backward to detach it from the mounting base.
If necessary, press the release buttons (for newer models) to unlock the seat.
Identify whether you have an old style or new style connection:
Old Style: Straight coupling.
New Style: Quick-release connector with clip.
Carefully detach the water hose connection from the solenoid valve.
Now you can attach the new Tuva or Stan seat.
Connect the new seat’s water hose to the solenoid valve and smart seat.
Match the correct connector type:
New style: Direct fit.
Old solenoid valve: Use an adapter (sold separately, Part#: 99TOI-ST303O0O-OU).
Make sure the connectors click securely into place.
Align the seat with the mounting base.
Slide it forward until it clicks into place.
Turn the water supply valve back ON.
Check for leaks at all connection points.
Plug the power cable back into the wall outlet.
The seat should power on automatically.
