Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions for removing and installing the toilet seat on OVE Decors’ Irenne, Wilma, Bliss, and Nova smart toilets. It also explains how to replace the old-style battery box with the updated battery enclosure.

Removing the Toilet Seat

1. Preparation

1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.

2. Close the water supply valve.

2. Disconnect Components

• Flush button: Disconnect the flush button cable. (See Page 1, Section 1.2)

• Battery enclosure:

  • If present, remove the old-style battery box (Part#: 99TOI0417-OU).

  • Replace it with the new battery enclosure (Part#: 99TOI0518-OU).

3. Remove the Seat

1. Detach the locking clip under the seat hinge. (Page 2, Section 1.6)

2. Lift and remove the old seat. (Page 2, Section 1.7)

Installing the New Seat

1. Position the New Seat

• Place the new seat onto the mounting area. (Page 2, Section 2.1)

2. Secure the Seat

• Fasten the hinge and reattach the locking clip. (Page 2, Section 2.2)

3. Reconnect Components

• Connect the flush button cable. (Page 3, Section 2.7)

• Connect the new battery enclosure (Part#: 99TOI0518-OU). (Page 3, Section 2.6)

4. Optional Adapter (If Required)

• If the toilet has an old solenoid valve, use the adapter (Part#: 99TOI-ST303O0O-OU, sold separately) to connect the new version smart seat. (Page 3, Section 2.5)

5. Restore Power and Water

1. Plug the power cord back in. (Page 3, Section 2.8)

2. Open the water supply valve.

Important Notes

• Always replace the old-style battery box (99TOI0417-OU) with the new battery enclosure (99TOI0518-OU).

• Ensure all connections are secure before restoring power and water supply.

• The adapter (99TOI-ST303O0O-OU) is required only when connecting a new seat to an older solenoid valve.
