🪛 Section 1: How to Remove the Toilet Seat

Follow these steps carefully before installing your new seat.

Step 1 — Unplug the Power

• Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.

• Ensure the unit is completely turned off before continuing.

Step 2 — Close the Water Valve

• Turn the water supply valve to the OFF position.

• Verify that no water is flowing into the toilet.

Step 3 — Remove the Seat and Disconnect Hose

• Lift and slide the old seat backward to remove it.

• Disconnect the water supply hose from the solenoid valve.

• Identify your connection type:

  • Old style: Straight coupling.

  • New style: Quick-connect coupling with clip.

🧩 Section 2: How to Install the Toilet Seat

Once the old seat has been removed, you can install the new smart seat.

Step 1 — Connect the Water Hose

• Connect the hose from the new seat to the solenoid valve and smart seat.

• Use the adapter (Part#: 99TOI-ST303O0O-OU) if you have an old solenoid valve.

• Make sure all connections click securely into place.

Step 2 — Install the New Seat

• Align the seat with the mounting base.

• Slide it forward until it locks into place.

Step 3 — Open the Water Valve

• Turn the water valve back ON.

• Check for leaks at all connection points.

Step 4 — Plug in the Power Cord

• Plug the power cable back into the wall outlet.

• The seat will power on automatically.

💡 Tips & Troubleshooting

• If the seat does not fit properly, ensure the mounting hardware is correctly aligned.

• For leaks, inspect the hose connectors and seals.

• If there is no power, check the GFCI outlet or reset switch.
