Step-by-Step Instructions


Step 1: Turn Off the Water Supply

1. Locate the shut-off valve behind the toilet.
2. Turn the valve clockwise to stop the water flow.

Step 2: Turn Off the Bidet Lever

1. Turn off the lever of the bidet located behind the toilet to stop the water flow to the bidet.

Step 3: Unplug the Toilet

1. Unplug the toilet from the electrical outlet to ensure safety during the replacement.

Step 4: Lift the Top Plastic Enclosure

1. Gently lift the top part of the toilet to access the internal components.
2. Disconnect the solenoid tube carefully.

Step 5: Remove the Lid of the Electronic Components

1. Locate and unscrew the lid covering the electronic components inside the toilet.
2. Carefully disconnect the wires inside, as shown in the accompanying video for guidance.

Step 6: Remove the Old Seat / Lid

1. Unscrew the screws securing the seat and lid to the toilet (screws for the soft close mechanism hinges).
2. Carefully lift the old seat and lid off.

Step 7: Install the New Seat / Lid

1. Position the new seat/lid over the mounting holes.
2. Insert and tighten the screws to secure the seat and lid in place.

Step 8: Install the Soft Close Mechanism Hinges

1. Align the soft close mechanism hinges with the mounting holes.
2. Screw them in securely.

Step 9: Reconnect the Wires

1. Carefully reconnect the wires you disconnected earlier.
2. Ensure all connections are secure and properly aligned.

Step 10: Reattach the Lid of the Electronic Components

1. Place the lid back over the electronic components and screw it securely.

Step 11: Reconnect the Solenoid Tube

1. Reconnect the solenoid tube to ensure proper functionality.

Step 12: Replace the Top Plastic Enclosure

1. Position the top part back onto the ceramic bowl and ensure it fits snugly.

Step 13: Turn On the Water Supply

1. Return to the shut-off valve and turn it counterclockwise to restore water flow.
