100% Clear Silicone Sealant/Adhesive (bathroom-grade)
X-acto knife or small chisel (for removing old adhesive)
2x4 wooden pieces with wood shims (to support basin during curing)
Rubbing alcohol and clean cloth
Carefully remove old adhesive or silicone from the underside of the countertop and the lip of the sink basin using an X-acto knife or chisel.
Wipe all bonding surfaces clean with rubbing alcohol to remove dust, grease, or residue.
Apply a continuous bead of 100% silicone around the edge of the sink basin where it will contact the underside of the countertop.
Lift the sink basin into place under the countertop.
Support it securely by placing 2x4 wooden braces beneath the basin and tightening them with shims to hold it firmly in position.
Ensure the basin is flush and properly aligned.
Leave the basin supported and undisturbed for at least 24–48 hours to allow the silicone to fully cure.
Once cured, remove the braces and shims carefully.
