Remove Mounting Hardware: Detach all pre-installed mounting hardware (screws, washers, nuts, etc.) from the basin and the wooden MDF board.
Important: The basins are fragile, so handle them with care and have assistance if needed.
Reuse Existing Brackets: The basin comes with pre-installed brackets attached to a wooden plate (MDF board). These brackets will be reused for the installation.
Step 2: Basin Installation – Positioning the Basin
Turn Over the Countertop: Carefully flip the countertop onto a soft, stable surface to prevent damage.
Tip: Ensure the basin overflow is positioned directly across from the faucet holes.
Position the Basin: Place the basin over the cutout on the countertop, ensuring it is centered with the faucet hole and evenly spaced between the mounting holes.
Mark the Outline: Use a pencil to trace the outline of the basin on the countertop.
Apply Silicone Sealant: Remove the basin and apply a bead of silicone sealant around the top edge of the basin rim.
Step 3: Securing the Basin
Reposition the Basin: Carefully place the basin upside down on the countertop, aligning it with the marked outline. Press firmly into place.
Reattach the Brackets: Reuse the pre-installed brackets that came with the basin. Use the same screws, washers, and nuts to secure the brackets to the basin lip, ensuring the basin is firmly held in place.
Tip: Make sure the basin is properly aligned and do not overtighten the screws.
Clean Excess Silicone: Wipe away any excess silicone from underneath the basin with a clean cloth.
Cure the Silicone: Allow the silicone to dry for 24 hours before continuing with any additional installation or using the vanity.
Important Notes:
Allow the installation to dry for 24 hours before use to ensure the silicone sets fully and the basin is securely installed.
