The Shower Door Configurator tool on the Ove Decors website is designed to help you find the perfect shower door and panel package for your bathroom. By entering the dimensions of your shower space and selecting your preferences, the tool will present you with available packages, including options with or without a shower base, and shelving choices. You can then purchase your chosen package through different retailers. Here’s how the tool works step by step:
Step 1: Full-Height or Combination of full-height and buttress Panels
The first question you'll encounter asks about the style of panels you want:
- Full-height panels: All glass panels reach from the floor to the ceiling.
- Combination of full-height and buttress panels: Buttress panels are shorter, typically used on top of a half wall or pony wall, with full-height panels elsewhere.
- Full buttress panels (for tubs): These panels are shorter and designed specifically for use with bathtubs, where the panels cover the lower part of the tub surround.
Select your preference to continue to the next step.
Step 2: Choose Your Shower Layout (Alcove or Corner)
Next, the configurator will ask whether your shower is an alcove or a corner layout:
- Alcove: This layout means you will install the shower door and glass panels on one side of the shower (with three walls surrounding it).
- Corner shower: This layout has glass panels on two sides, typically for a shower installed in the corner of the room.
Make your selection to proceed.
Step 3: Do You Need a Shower Base?
Here, you can choose whether you want a shower base included with your glass panels or not:
- With base: Selecting this option means you want a shower base with your panels. Please note that sizes are more limited for packages with a shower base, as the bases are only available in limited standard sizes.
- Without base: You can choose just the panels without a base if you already have a base or are planning a custom installation.
Step 4: Enter Your Measurements
Now, it's time to input the dimensions of your shower space:
- Depth: The depth of the space you have available for your shower door and panels.
- Width: The width of the area to install your shower.
- Height: The height of the panels you prefer.
Step 5: Do You Want Shelves?
Next, you can decide if you would like to add shelves to your shower setup. Shelves can be useful for holding toiletries and enhancing the overall design of your shower:
- With shelves: Adds built-in shelving to the selected panel setup.
- Without shelves: Proceed with just the glass panels.
Step 6: View Available Options
Based on your inputs, the configurator will show you a list of available shower door and panel packages. For each option, you will see:
- The minimum and maximum measurements the package fits written in the description.
- Available frame colors.
- Panel sizes for each package.
When you find a package that suits your needs, click on it for more details.
Step 7: Place Your Order
Clicking on the selected package will open a link to a retailer where you can place your order directly. Each package includes the shower panels, with or without the base and shelves, depending on your previous selections.
Changing Your Mind?
At any step during the configuration process, if you change your mind or want to go back to a previous option, simply click the "X" button at the corner of the selected type. This will allow you to go back and reselect your preferences, making the process flexible and easy.
